The mission of the Tucson Cinema Foundation is to celebrate film as an art form and to facilitate a community discourse to further the appreciation, knowledge, and understanding of film and its many facets. In November 2002, the nonprofit Tucson Cinema Foundation purchased The Loft Cinema and transformed it into an exciting cultural center for a diverse cross-section of Southern Arizona audiences.
