The Brewster Center has two shelters available for women who are being abused and their children. Both shelters are available 24 hours a day, year-round, including holidays. While in shelter, women and children receive food, shelter, clothing and other basic necessities, as well as assistance in planning for their future. The West House is a 30 bed shelter located in central Tucson. Casa Amparo is a 14 bed shelter located in South Tucson. Casa Amparo is operated entirely by bilingual (Spanish/English) staff.
